STEP is run by working professionals who give their time to teach skills they spent years learning.

Volunteer roles

  • Trainer / Co-trainer (4-8 hr/month) — Practising CMAs, CAs, CSs, legal professionals
  • Cohort mentor (2-3 hr/month) — Senior professionals, recent retirees
  • Reviewer of participant work (1-2 hr/month)
  • Webinar moderator (1 hr per webinar)
  • Content reviewer (1-2 hr/month)
  • Translation volunteer — English ↔ Hindi
