How the Body works

  • President and Vice-President elected for five-year terms.
  • Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer hold one-year terms, renewable.
  • The Body meets at least twice each financial year.
  • Quorum is one-third of members.
  • The Body appoints auditors, approves the annual budget, admits new members.
  • President emergency-spend authority: ₹5,00,000. Secretary’s: ₹1,00,000.
